I am a Senior Lecturer and Programme Director for the MSc Learning for Sustainability at the University of Edinburgh. I’m passionate about reimagining ways in which education, in its broadest sense, can foster learning for sustainability and I’m driven by the profound and important challenge of re-conceptualising our kinship with the natural world as a fundamental aspect of this process. With this in mind, my research spans policy and professional practice, drawing upon aspects of social movement learning and relational activism to better understand the structural, theoretical and practical processes of, and possibilities for, change.
This website holds details of my research, writing and academic work and my blog provides updates, insights and reflections.
